Fructase

Do you suffer from fructose intolerance?

Fructose intolerance is a condition where the body struggles to digest fructose, a sugar found in fruits, honey, and some vegetables. It occurs due to a deficiency of the enzyme needed to break down fructose in the digestive system. This can lead to symptoms like bloating, diarrhea, gas, and abdominal pain after consuming fructose-rich foods.

What is Fructase?

Fructase is a product containing an enzyme called Xylose Isomerase. Xylose Isomerase helps to digest fructose. This way you can enjoy your fruits, sweets, and sugary drinks with ease and comfort!

Fructase contains 7500 units per capsule of the digestive enzyme Xylose Isomerase, which supports the digestion of fructose by converting it into glucose in the small intestine. This helps reduce occasional gas, bloating, and discomfort associated with fructose intolerance and malabsorption.*

The capsules are easy to twist open, allowing the powder to be taken separately or mixed with water. Fructase comes in a small, user-friendly container and is suitable for children aged 2 and up.

Don’t let occasional bloating and gas affect your daily life!
Feeling bloated, constipated, or dealing with embarrassing gas are more than just physical discomforts—they can disrupt your entire day, leaving you feeling uneasy and self-conscious. Whether it’s an important meeting, a social event, or simply going about your day, digestive issues can make you feel very physically and mentally unconformable. Intoleran helps you manage digestive distractions, so you can feel more comfortable, confident, and ready to take on your day.

Fructose (fruit sugar)
Fructose, also known as “fruit sugar,” is one of the FODMAPs, a group of fermentable carbohydrates. Fructose is found in fruits, vegetables, honey, and processed products such as cherries, melon, apples, pear, dried fruit, asparagus, artichokes, fruit juices, apple syrup, jam, sauces, soft drinks, breakfast cereal, and sweets. On food labels, fructose may be listed under various names, including fructose-glucose syrup, corn syrup, fruit juice concentrate, honey, agave syrup, and crystalline fructose. It is important to watch out for these names when reading food labels.

Digestion of fructose in the body
Fructose is absorbed into the bloodstream in the small intestine with the help of a transport protein. The digestive enzyme Xylose Isomerase converts free fructose into glucose, ensuring a 1:1 ratio of glucose and fructose, allowing both to be properly absorbed in the small intestine.
