Once a Day is a probiotic supplement including a specially selected blend of 6 probiotic strains, delivering a total of 10 billion live bacteria. Developed by our in-house dietitians, Once a Day helps in the digestion of lactose from food. It is our most user-friendly option: you only need to take one capsule per day. This makes it ideal for travel and suitable for children aged 4 and up, as well as for daily long-term use. Be aware of the build-up period of 5-14 days after first use. The capsules are easy to open and Once a Day comes with a small user-friendly container.

What are probiotics?
Probiotics are live microorganisms, also known as good bacteria, that can supplement the body’s own gut bacteria in the gut flora. The gut flora is a collective term for all the bacteria living in your intestines, each performing different tasks. The types and quantities of bacteria present in the gut flora vary from person to person. Once a Day contains 6 specially selected probiotic strains that help with the digestion of lactose from food:

Lactose is one of the FODMAPs; fermentable carbohydrates (sugars). Lactose, also known as “milk sugar,” is primarily found in milk and other dairy products such as cream, custard, quark, mascarpone, fresh (cream) cheese, biscuits and cakes. Additionally, lactose can also be present in processed meats, chips, sweets, soft drinks, breakfast cereals and certain medications and dietary supplements. Therefore, it is always important to read labels carefully. Lactose can be listed under various names, such as milk powder, whey, milk sugar and milk solids.

Usage

Usage: Take one capsule once a day at a fixed time. If you have trouble swallowing, you can open the capsule and consume the contents separately or dissolve them in a glass of water.

Recommended Dosage: Take one capsule per day.

Build-up Period: Continue use for 5-14 days after the first dose.

Age: These capsules are suitable for individuals starting from 4 years of age.

Please Note: ‘Once a Day’ is a probiotic that may cause slight intestinal discomfort in a small proportion of users during the initial days. This discomfort should resolve on its own within 1 to 2 weeks.

Ingredients: Filler: acacia gum; mixture of 6 lactic acid bacteria (10 billion CFU per capsule): bacillus coagulans, bacillus subtilis, bifidobacterium animalis lactis, lactobacillus casei, lactobacillus rhamnosus, streptococcus thermophilus. HPMC (capsule). Antioxidant: ascorbic acid.
