Quatrase 5000 contains a blend, specially formulated by our in-house dietitians, of the digestive enzymes alpha-galactosidase, xylose isomerase, invertase and lactase. Alpha-galactosidase helps with the digestion of complex carbohydrates, such as fructans and galactan. These are found in grains, vegetables and legumes and it reduces the risk of gas formation. Lactase helps in the digestion of lactose.

Quatrase 5000 contains a, by our in-house dieticians specially formulated, high-dose blend of the digestive enzymes alpha-galactosidase (1200 h), xylose isomerase (7500 h), invertase (500 h) and lactase (10,000 FCC). Alpha-galactosidase helps digest complex carbohydrates, such as fructans and galactans, these are found in grains, vegetables, and legumes and it reduces the risk of gas formation*. Lactase helps with the digestion of lactose**.

You can take Quatrase before meals. You can take the capsules with water, for example. If you have trouble swallowing, you can also take the contents separately or dissolve them in a glass of water. The capsules are suitable for use with children (from 2 years of age). After ingestion, the enzymes are active for about 30-45 minutes.
Take 1 to 3 capsules at a time just before a meal. A maximum of 15 capsules per day.
Intoleran quatrase contains a combination of the enzymes: Alpha-Galactosidase (600 iu), Xylose Isomerase (5000 iu), Lactase (5000 FCC) and Invertase (250 iu).
Ingredients (per capsule): Lactase (5,000 FCC); Filling aid: Calcium Carbonate; HPMC (capsule); Alpha Galactosidase (600 iu); Xylose Isomerase (5,000 iu); Invertase (250 iu).
