Intoleran quatrase forte helps with the digestion of dairy products, carbohydrates, fruit sugar and starches. Quatrase forte is an enzyme mix to support healthy digestion and prevent occasional gas and bloating.

Quatrase forte contains four different enzymes to aid the digestion of various FODMAPs such as lactose, fructose and GOS (not for polyols such as sorbitol or mannitol). Quatrase forte contains the enzymes lactase, Xylose Isomerase, Alpha-Galactosidase and Invertase.

Quatrase forte can be taken prior to a meal. The best way to take this is with water, however if you have difficulty swallowing, the contents of the capsule can be dissolved in a glass of water. The capsules are suitable for children aged 2 years onwards. After ingestion, the lactase enzyme is active for approximately 30-45 minutes.

Take 1 to 3 capsules at a time just before meals. Maximum of 15 capsules per day.

Intoleran quatrase forte contains a combination of the enzymes: Alpha-Galactosidase, Xylose Isomerase, Lactase and Invertase.

Ingredients: Alpha-Galactosidase (1200 iu); Xylose Isomerase (7500 iu); HPMC
(vegetable capsule); lactase (10,000 FCC); Filling aid: calcium carbonate; Invertase (500 iu).

Quatrase Forte is suitable for vegetarians and vegans. Free from gluten and soy.

Frequently asked questions about quatrase forte – 36 capsules

The recommended dose of quatrase forte is 1-3 capsules. We recommend starting with the highest dose, to see how you react, and then tapering down to a smaller dose next time. You can do this until you can see the minimum dose your body needs to avoid triggering the symptoms of your food intolerance. Of course, what you eat/drink and portion size will matter (as will the severity of your intolerance), but the general rule is that by starting high, you can better tell if the product is helping you or not, rather than not being sure if it was enough. It is certainly helpful to taper the dose and see if you can go to a lower strength next time. Overdosing, by the way, does not have any negative effect and is therefore not a bad thing. In some cases it is better to be on the safe side in order to avoid unnecessary complaints.

Our quatrase forte capsules are safe to use several times a day. We do recommend that you adhere to the maximum set number of capsules per day. For quatrase forte, this is a maximum of 15 capsules per day.

With IBS we often recommend the use of the quatrase forte, because it helps digest many different carbohydrates and therefore helps relieve the symptoms and complaints of IBS. Also, with IBS there are often several sensitivities at the same time, which is why this combination of enzymes is very suitable to use.
