Savor all your favorite foods without the worry of occasional bloating and gas from food intolerances!
Carbostarch contains a special, high-dosed blend of digestive enzymes that help in the breakdown of some hard-to-digest carbohydrates (FODMAPs), sugars and starches. The enzymes present in this product include Alpha Galactosidase (1200 u), Lactase (10,000 FCC), Gluco-amylase (2500 u) and Invertase (7500 u).
The product helps to overcome occasional digestive issues without the need for a restrictive, complicated diet. It can help to digest lactose, complex carbohydrates, sucrose and starch.* The capsules are easy to twist open, allowing the powder to be taken separately or mixed with water. Carbostarch comes with a small user-friendly container and is suitable for children aged 2 and up.

Intoleran helps you manage digestive distractions, so you can feel more comfortable, confident, and ready to take on your day.
Hard-to-digest carbohydrates, sugars (FODMAPs) and starch
FODMAP is a collective term for various types of fermentable and therefore hard-to-digest carbohydrates (sugars). FODMAPs include carbohydrates such as (1) fructans and galactans and (2) lactose. Although (3) sucrose and starch (4) are not officially classified as a FODMAP, they can also behave as a hard-to-digest carbohydrate. Digestive enzymes can help with the digestion of these carbohydrates and starch.
1. Complex carbohydrates (fructans and galactans)
Fructans are found in grains, vegetables, and legumes, such as garlic, onions, leeks, wheat, apricots, grapefruit, nectarines, nuts, split peas and various grain products and pasta like crackers. Galactans are found in soy products, green peas, split peas, kidney beans and various types of nuts. The digestive enzyme Alpha Galactosidase helps in the digestion of complex carbohydrates (fructans and galactans) and reduces the risk of gas formation.*
2. Lactose (milk sugar)
Lactose, also known as “milk sugar,” is found in milk and other dairy products such as cream, custard, quark, mascarpone, fresh (cream) cheese, biscuits, cakes and many other processed foods containing dairy. The digestive enzyme Lactase helps with the digestion of lactose in people who have difficulty digesting it.*
3. Sucrose (table sugar)
Sucrose, also known as saccharose or table sugar, is found in fruits such as apples, bananas, mangoes, pears, oranges, watermelon and in processed foods where sugar has been added, like biscuits and sauces. The digestive enzyme Invertase helps with the digestion of sucrose.*
4. Starch
Starch is a complex carbohydrate found in grain products, potatoes and pasta. It is also present in other grain-based foods like pasta, corn, legumes and processed foods such as biscuits, chocolate, chips, breaded meat products and snacks. The digestive enzyme Gluco-Amylase helps with the digestion of starch.*
