FAQ's starchway
Back
Starchway is indeed similar to sucraid. It contains the same enzyme (invertase). One scoop of sucraid contains the same amount of invertase as 1-1.5 capsules of starchway. In addition to the invertase enzyme, Starchway also contains the enzyme glucoamylase to break down starch.
The maximum dose of starchway (for all age groups) is 15 capsules per day. You can use 1-3 capsules per meal depending on the size of the meal, amount of sucrose/starch, etc.
When you take starchway with your meal, the enzymes work directly to digest the starch and sucrose. So you will notice the effect directly. We recommend starting with 3 capsules prior to meals. This way enough of the digestive enzymes enters the body. Should this amount be sufficient, you could try a lower dosage. How many capsules are sufficient may vary from person to person.
Starchway contains the enzymes Invertase and Gluco-amylase. These enzymes aid in the digestion of sucrose and starch from food.
