Small tablet for digesting small amounts of lactose. Ideal for children

lactase 2500 - sample 5 tablets

use

You can take the lactase 2500 tablets prior to any lactose-containing meal. The tablets are the size of a sweetener and therefore easy to swallow. You can take the tablets with some water, for example. The capsules are suitable for use with children (from 2 years of age). After ingestion, the lactase enzyme is active for about 30-45 minutes.

The tablets can be chewed if necessary, but as the tablets are not specifically made for this, it may stick a bit in the teeth. The best option remains to take the tablets with some water without chewing.

Take 2-4 tablets at a time just before a meal containing lactose.
A maximum of 20 tablets per day.

Frequently asked questions

about lactase 2500 – sample 5 tablets

Many of our products have a recommended dosage of 1 to 2 break tablets, 1 to 3 capsules or even 2 to 4 tablets. We recommend starting with the highest dose, to see how you react, and then reduce to a smaller dose the next time, to find your own ideal dosage.

You can safely use our lactase capsules and tablets several times a day. We do recommend that you stick to the maximum number of tablets or capsules per day. For the lactase 2500 this is a maximum of 20 tablets per day, for the lactase 3000 and lactase 10,000 this is a maximum of 15 capsules per day. For the lactase 20,000, the maximum is 10 tablets per day.

With the lactase tablets and capsules, we have different strengths available. This strength is expressed in FCC per capsule. You can choose from 2500, 3000, 10,000 and 20,000. If it is your first time trying one of our lactase products, we generally recommend trying one of the higher strengths first, for example the 10,000 or 20,000. Starting higher will give you a clearer indication of whether it will work well for you or not when you first try it. At a lower dose, it may be unclear if it helps or not, or it maybe that the dose wasn't high enough. If you have a milder degree of intolerance or only want to use the capsules or tablets for smaller amounts of lactose, you can choose the 2500 or 3000 strength - depending on whether you prefer to swallow a small tablet or a capsule. If you are more sensitive to lactose or want to consume larger amounts of lactose you may want to choose the 10,000 or 20,000.
