DAO Mini

DAO Mini tablets are dietary supplements containing Diamine Oxidase (DAO) enzyme. It is a dietary supplement and NOT an anti-histamine. DAO Mini is available in a dispenser of 60 tablets.

When you take one tablet of DAO Mini just before a meal, the tablet dissolves slowly in the small intestine, releasing the enzyme Diamine Oxidase which mixes with the food. This allows the body to digest histamine better.

Take one DAO Mini tablet with some water just before a meal containing histamine. Use a maximum of 3 tablets per day.

DAO Mini contains the enzyme Diamine Oxidase, which is extracted from pig kidney. It is therefore not suitable for vegetarians. DAO Mini tablets do not contain allergens.

The ingredients of DAO mini tablets are: Fillers: Microcrystalline cellulose, hydroxypropyl cellulose; Pork kidney protein extract with 7% Diamine Oxidase (DAO); Glazing agent: ethyl cellulose; potato starch; Stabilisers: sodium alginate, magnesium stearate; Medium chain fatty acids; Glazing agent: hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose; Stabilisers: oleic acid, stearic acid.

Contains per tablet 4.2 mg pig protein extract with 0.3 mg Diamine Oxidase.

The product is safe to use. The active ingredient Diamine Oxidase is an enzyme that our body makes itself. Because Diamine Oxidase is a relatively large enzyme, it cannot pass through the gastrointestinal wall and therefore cannot enter the bloodstream. Any excess intake will therefore simply leave the body through the faeces.

DAO Mini contains only the Diamine Oxidase enzyme, packed in a small tablet (diameter 5mm). The DAO Plus contains besides Diamine Oxidase also vitamin C and Quercetin, packed in a capsule. Both DAO Mini tablets and DAO Plus capsules contain 20,000 – 30,000 HDU per tablet/capsule.
