FAQ about once a day

If you use the once-a-day product you can, in theory, properly digest all the lactose you ingest in a day. In some cases, for example if you are very sensitive to lactose, it may be necessary to take a lactase capsule or tablet to digest large amounts of lactose. However, for most people this is not necessary and the once-a-day is sufficient to properly digest all lactose during the day.

The "once a day" needs some build up of time to have the full effect when used for the first time. This is because the probiotics need some time to build up in the intestines. This takes about 5-14 days after the first use for most people. The effect of the once a day will continue as long as you take a capsule daily.

Feel free to use the "once a day" capsules for a long time, as this does not result in any disadvantages or side effects. Many of our customers have been using this product for years with positive results. You can also choose to use this product temporarily, for example during a holiday. If this is the case, please take into account the build-up period of 5-14 days after the first use.

In most people, the effect of the "once a day" will remain undiminished, even if you use the capsules for a long time. However, in certain circumstances, the effect may be temporarily reduced, for example in case of illness (with vomiting, diarrhoea) or when taking an antibiotic treatment. In this case we recommend temporarily stopping taking the capsules and trying again later. If it still does not work as it used to, you can choose an alternative, such as our lactase 20,000 tablets.

The "once a day" contains probiotics. Probiotics are known to cause a rumbling sensation in the intestines, especially at first. The intestines usually need a few days to get used to the probiotics.
